The Divine Attributes
God, Allah, Brahma, or Dao has superb attributes and with the saints there’s extreme joy. It’s so because these are holy ones always striving for perfection. Happiness from the Divine is like a flame enlightening their lives. This ideal could be found in the all-encompassing Spirit. This great gift is symbolic and transcendent. The Primal Essence is beyond all created wisdom. These attributes were spoken of Benjamin Franklin (1706–1790), a founding father of the United States, who wrote, “A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body.” It’s the encompassing Spirit who provides food and fire for believers.
With divinity there’s perfect bliss. Many believers expect eternal rest after leaving this earthly domain. They praise the Primordial Essence without ceasing. Hunger and thirst will be no more for they will be recipients of precious gifts. Believers will walk in the spirit fearlessly where they will eventually discover the full nature of their amazing lives. They are able to demonstrate this willingness by what they are seeking. Spiritual adherents are known for having a steadfast spirit. Their experiences continue to deepen when they journey through life. A mythologist and lecturer in Comparative Religions Joseph Campbell (1904–1987) wrote, “Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were walls.” Campbell captured the essence of their earthly sojourn where nothing is impossible with the Primordial Essence.
The Divine Character
The Divine wisdom is indescribable and known for infinite grace. Adherents walking in these footsteps often demonstrate an apostolic spirit. It’s one of harmony revealed by a religious awakening. Believers create trails like those envisioned by Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882), an essayist and poet who said, “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”
Contemplating divinity is remarkable for people experience goodness and mercy. This power is found in the boundless love of the Eternal Essence. It’s a fountain of goodness that tends the wounded before they are able to recognize these works. As spiritual seekers it’s good to witness about the Divine character, for this is a weapon that’s used when believers fellowship with unbelievers.
In their pastoral outreach people show love for other souls. Be industrious for that’s what all divinity expects of its adherents. Followers should be obedient like true disciples. Booker T. Washington (1856–1915), an African American educator wrote, “Character is power.” Inevitably faith-filled lives would best exemplify the character of the religious. The Best Primal Essence is goodness and mercy that will shine amazingly in all peoples.
